A Texas-rooted commercial real estate professional with a career spanning asset management, acquisitions, and brokerage, Josh holds a BBA in Real Estate from the University of North Texas, an active Texas real estate license, and a California broker's license. He brings a rare blend of institutional depth and on-the-ground execution to JDE Capital Partners, which he founded to bring a disciplined, hands-on approach to value-add industrial real estate across Texas.
Josh's background spans both sides of institutional real estate: he has served as an Asset Manager for large industrial funds, overseeing renovation execution and investor return reporting, and as a Director of Acquisitions, sourcing and underwriting deals at scale. He also spent several years in commercial real estate brokerage in DFW, working directly with brokers and owners to close transactions -experience that now drives JDE's off-market sourcing and broker relationships.
His focus is straightforward: identify value-add industrial assets trading at compelling bases, underwrite them with discipline, and create outsized returns for investors. Whether sourcing off-market warehouse opportunities or evaluating repositioning plays in overlooked Texas markets, Josh applies the same framework - rigorous analysis, clear-eyed risk assessment, and a drive to build lasting value.
Outside of work, Josh is as comfortable on a soccer pitch as he is in a boardroom. He competes in local leagues, stays grounded through his faith and church community, and feeds a genuine curiosity for the world. He has traveled to more than 20 countries across six continents and is fluent in Spanish, which comes in handy both abroad and closer to home.
